Kasey Michaels was a New York Times bestselling author who wrote more than 40 irresistible historical romances. And with more than 5 million books in print, she well earned her national recognition as a master of the genre. In 1995 Publishers Weekly praised Secrets of the Heart with a coveted starred review and selected it as one of the year's best romances.
She passed away July 25, 2023 at the age of 79 surrounded by her family.
