Kate Hardy lives in Norwich with her husband, two children and a very soppy spaniel. She writes both Medical and Modern Extra romances for Mills & Boon. Her novel WHERE THE HEART IS was shortlisted for the RNA Romance Prize in 2006 and her novel BREAKFAST AT GIOVANNI'S won the RNA Romance Prize in 2008.
She also writes local history as Pamela Brooks.
