William Boyd, a Ghanaian-born author, was raised in both Ghana and Nigeria before pursuing his education at the prestigious universities of Nice, Glasgow, and Oxford. With seven novels under his belt, Boyd has been honored with numerous awards, such as the Whitbread First Novel, the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize, the James Tait Black Memorial Prize, and the Sunday Express Book of the Year Award. One of his works, An Ice-Cream War, was even shortlisted for the Booker Prize. Currently residing in Chelsea, London, Boyd is happily married and continues to captivate readers with his literary creations.
