C J Box

C. J. Box has achieved great success as a writer, with many of his novels, including the popular Joe Pickett series, becoming New York Times bestsellers. He has been honored with prestigious awards such as the Edgar Alan Poe Award for Best Novel for "Blue Heaven" in 2009, along with the Anthony Award, Prix Calibre 38 (France), the Macavity Award, the Gumshoe Award, and the Barry Award. In addition, he received the 2010 Mountains & Plains Independent Booksellers Association Award for fiction. Several of his works, including "Open Season," "Blue Heaven," "Nowhere to Run," and "The Highway," have been optioned for adaptation into film and television. His novels have sold over four million copies in the United States alone and have been translated into twenty-seven languages. C. J. Box currently resides in Wyoming.
