Annie Hartnett's first novel, "Rabbit Cake", has been published by Tin House Books. The book has been recognized as an Indies Introduce and an Indie Next Pick, and has received glowing reviews from Publisher's Weekly, Kirkus, and Library Journal. Annie graduated from the MFA program at the University of Alabama in 2013 and served as the 2013-2014 Writer-in-Residence for the Associates of the Boston Public Library. Currently, she teaches courses on novel writing and short story writing at Grub Street, a renowned independent writing center in Boston. Working on her second novel titled "Driver's Ed", Annie delves into the darkly comedic theme of a sex crime in a small town. She is represented by Katie Grimm of Don Congdon Associates, Inc. Annie and her husband, along with their border collie, reside in Providence, Rhode Island.
